Dear Neighbors, Although our neighborhood is almost completed, the Architectural Review Board (ARB) is still extremely important in assuring that our neighborhood's general appearance be maintained. The values of everyone's home are greatly dependent upon the exterior appearance and landscaping of our neighbors. With homeowners constantly trying to improve their homes with pools, additions, painting and landscaping, it is important that the neighborhood is moving in one direction. Also, there are still several undeveloped lots and it is in the best interest of all whom own in Prestwick that the remaining homes fit in with the existing homes and enhance everyone's investment. With that said, the ARB is in need of a few more volunteers. The commitment is basically one two hour meeting per month with a few monthly inspections and emails. If anyone else is interested in donating his/her time to the Board, it would be greatly appreciated. Please contact Laura Kniffin, the Association Manager, or me at johndodson.com. Just a note and a reminder, the ARB meets on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 5:00 p.m. For your convenience, you can pick up an ARB form at the Guardhouse, fill it out, and drop it off there. Laura Kniffin, the Association Manager, picks up the forms and creates the agenda for the meeting. As we are all volunteers, we greatly appreciate your patience in waiting for an ARB meeting. Granted, sometimes there are emergencies and an immediate response is required. When that is necessary, please call Laura and she will make the necessary arrangements. It will also save you time if you would please take a moment to read the ARB guidelines to ensure the chance of your request being approved. As always, our objective is to protect and enhance the community values by following the direction given us in the community's documents.
