"Car 54 Where Are You?" Preliminary meetings have been held with the Horry County Police to establish a presence in Prestwick to curtail vehicles speeding, running the stop signs and other traffic violations. All efforts will be taken to notify property owners and residents 30 days prior to the patrols starting. The Board has taken proper and legal steps with the appropriate governmental agencies to allow the Horry County Police in Prestwick. Linda Sebok Security Committee Chair The walkthrough gates will be activated with a new code beginning January 1, 2008. PLEASE NOTE: The code will be changed periodically. Please do not share this information with people who do not live in Prestwick. This step is to help ensure our community maintains a safe and secure environment. DECALS: All Prestwick property owners' vehicles are required to have the Prestwick identification decal in the lower left corner of their vehicles' window. If a decal is needed, forms are available at the guardhouse and will be available soon on the website. VISITORS -If you are expecting visitors, please remember to let the guards know whom you are expecting.  |
