The holiday get together was held in the beginning of December with Santa (Bob Canales) and his elf (Lore Canales) in attendance. Many thanks to those committee members who helped in set-up, transportation and clean up. Some neighbors came out to join us bringing gifts for needy children. Through the generosity of the residents of Prestwick, 45 holiday gifts for needy children were donated to Toys for Tots through John Kovalcik. Our thanks to those who donated gifts and money and to John for handling delivery through the Marine Corps. We will be collecting again next holiday season so start collecting your gifts early The progressive dinner took a turn and became a dinner at the Rioz Brazilian Steakhouse. Thirty-seven neighbors joined us for the food, fun, and excitement of Rioz. What an experience it was to enjoy the fabulous food. We all left the restaurant hoping to come back again The Annual Easter Egg Hunt will be held at the pool on March 22 at 9:00 a.m. There will be prizes in each age group and goodie bags for all with ages 2-under, 3 and 4, 5 to 7, and 8 and up groups. The price is .00 per child, which must be prepaid before the event. Just bring a basket and please call Jill at 293-5861 or Laurel at 294- 1454 to reserve a spot A Pelicans game will be planned for late April with more info to follow Watch for an announcement of the third annual Prestwick Attic Treasures sale scheduled tentatively for early May. The venue may have to change due to the use of the lot where the event was formerly held Our next Pot Luck supper will be May 17th at the pool. Come join in on the festivities Our committee is always searching for ideas for events, so call the following committee members if you have any thoughts or would like to join us.
